ERYKAH BADU IN POLAND
IMEHO – An Intimate Experience with Erykah Badu
Erykah Badu, one of the most influential and original artists in contemporary music, is returning to Poland. On October 25, 2026, she will perform at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, presenting her latest live project, “IMEHO – An Intimate Experience with Erykah Badu.”
Following last year’s concerts in Gdynia, where the artist celebrated the 25th anniversary of her iconic album “Mama’s Gun,” Erykah Badu returns with a completely different experience. “IMEHO” is an improvisation-driven format in which every concert is created live on stage, making each evening truly unique and impossible to replicate.
During the Katowice concert, audiences will hear songs from across Erykah Badu’s entire catalogue, including compositions from “Baduizm,” “Mama’s Gun,” and “New Amerykah,” as well as new material from her upcoming album. Classic songs will be given fresh, open-ended arrangements, leaving room for the artist and her musicians to improvise and spontaneously take the music in unexpected directions.
Since the release of her groundbreaking debut album “Baduizm” in 1997, Erykah Badu has remained one of the most important figures in neo-soul. A five-time Grammy Award winner, she is the creator of iconic songs such as “On & On,” “Tyrone,” “Bag Lady,” “Didn’t Cha Know,” “Window Seat,” and “Love of My Life.” For nearly three decades, her music has brought together soul, jazz, hip-hop, electronic music, poetry, and performance art.
The Katowice concert will be the only Polish date on the European leg of the “IMEHO” tour and Erykah Badu’s first-ever performance in the city.
